Child Safety Standards

Fur Baby Social, operated by Xanadu App Development LLC, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out the standards we publish and enforce, how anyone can report a concern, and who to contact. These standards apply everywhere on Fur Baby Social — the public feed, pet and member profiles, contests, events, comments, and private messages — on our website and in our iOS and Android apps alike.

What is prohibited

The following are strictly prohibited on Fur Baby Social, without exception:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any image, video, text, or link that sexualizes a minor.
• Any content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a minor, including grooming, sextortion, and solicitation of a minor.
• Trafficking a minor, or advertising, promoting, soliciting, or facilitating any of the above.
• Content that presents a minor in a sexualized manner, including computer-generated, edited, or AI-generated depictions.
• Using Fur Baby Social to contact a minor for a sexual purpose, or to direct a minor to sexual content anywhere else.

Breaking these rules costs an account permanently. There is no warning step and no second chance for CSAE.

Minimum age and protections for teens

Fur Baby Social is for members aged 13 and over. We collect a date of birth at sign-up and refuse accounts to anyone under 13; where we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we terminate it and delete the associated data.

Members aged 13 to 17 have restricted messaging: they exchange messages only with people they mutually follow, they never receive message requests from strangers, and they cannot be messaged by business accounts. Private messages are text-only — no image or video attachments — across every account on the service.

How to report

Every post, comment, member, and message on Fur Baby Social can be reported in one or two taps, on the web and in both apps: open the ··· menu on the item, choose a reason, and send. Reporting does not require an account relationship with the person you are reporting, and you can block or mute a member from their profile at the same time.

Reports reach a human reviewer. To report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation directly — including if you cannot access the app — email childsafety@furbaby.social. Reports of this kind are prioritized above all other queues.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

How we respond

On becoming aware of apparent CSAE, we act immediately: we remove the content from public view, terminate the accounts responsible, and preserve the relevant records as required by law.

We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the NCMEC CyberTiplineas required of electronic service providers under United States law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and we cooperate with law enforcement requests that are valid and properly served. Because preservation and reporting obligations attach to this material, evidence connected to a CSAE report is retained for as long as the law requires, even where the account itself has been deleted.
