Location data — GeoNames
Fur Baby Social turns the ZIP code on your profile into the city and state we display (and use for local features) with United States postal-code data — ZIP code, place name, state, and approximate coordinates — from GeoNames, made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. We modified the data for use here: reduced to one record per ZIP code, with coordinates averaged to an approximate center point. GeoNames is the source of the data and does not endorse Fur Baby Social.
